Restaurant Seebär in Travemuende

We arrived because a street sign advertised Backfisch at a good price. At the table we then learned that Backfisch was not offered at all at this time. So we decided on one of the other, much more expensive dishes. We seemed to have been forgotten and we had to repeatedly ask a waitress other than the one who was responsible for us when we could expect to eat. After all, guests who arrived later were served before us, and our waitress seemed to avoid us; maybe because we were two students who didn't order the big meal. After we got hungry and a little impatient, we got lukewarm fish with frozen vegetables, which was very disappointing for the price and the long waiting time. That was all in June 2020, but it stuck in my mind for so long that I wanted to get rid of it now.

Simple dishes, but they tasted good. The entire service does not wear mouth and nose protection, which is currently not appropriate.

The taste of the fried fish wasn't very good. Was more of a baking block in a bun

Service was unfortunately quite stressed, but still friendly. Food was okay, but not great kitchen quality. It also took a long time for the food to arrive.

Food was good my sour meat could have been a little more spicy. But the redfish on mine was good. The plates are also nicely arranged. I can recommend it.

After strolling through the front row, around 7:00 p.m., wanted to treat themselves to a coffee and cake, which is what you would expect from a cafe. Only after 15 min. place our order. The waitress left. A cranked waiter came back and informed us in an extremely rude manner - it was now dining time, there were no desserts. Felt pushed out and moved on.

Food was delicious, only a little the fish platter for 2. Definitely ate better but it was good. You get full and the price fits. The female waitress was very friendly and we and our son were welcome.

Food was ok! But you can do the same at home. Price matches performance! Service very friendly and quick! Portion unfortunately manageable and not really full.

Is right on the water. The food tasted rather mediocre, reminiscent of canteen food. There is a terrace, an interior space and a kind of winter garden. You can't avoid smoking on the terrace. But there is also smoking in the semi-closed room in the winter garden and the smoke moves towards other tables, so it is really uncomfortable to eat here. The service was professional and friendly.

The restaurant itself is very nice, unfortunately we were not satisfied with the service and the food. The third of us were seated at a table for two people, as the large tables were occupied, so far no problem, but it was after about 20 minutes. the restaurant was almost empty and unfortunately we were still sitting at the two-man table without question whether we wanted to move. We have 75 min. waited for our food and almost everyone who came after us was already done with the meal. When our food finally came, it was the wrong food and we asked for the right order, and only a half-raw egg was packed on top of our schnitzel. We were very dissatisfied!

Not too big a menu, the dishes are very tasty and the portions are not too big or too small. Seating in the restaurant itself or outside, covered and protected from the wind. The food comes to the table quickly and the staff is very friendly. I can only recommend this small restaurant.

Have been here several times and have always been very satisfied. Today, however, we got the worst fish plate ... we are sure that it was not fresh fish, far too dry and a few spices would not be bad either. Staff was friendly and courteous.
